The City of Hoisington announced the splash pad, connected to the city pool, opened Friday, Sept. 2.
Due to concerns of vandalism, the restrooms in the splash pad area will not be opened.
The splash pad will be operational from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. until Oct. 1. Once entering the facility, you can turn the water on using the activator. The water should stay on for eight minutes.
The city encouraged users to be safe and do their part in keeping the attraction beautiful and clean.
The splash pad is part of a $3 million project that constructed a new pool at Bicentennial Park in Hoisington. The pool opened July 1.
