Dateline – Bushton
Dolores L. Kaiser, 92, died February 16, 2021, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, Kansas. She was born March 31, 1928, on the family farm, rural Barton County, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Birzer) Zink. Dolores was a 1946 graduate of Bushton High School.
A lifetime Bushton resident, Dolores was a homemaker, wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and Altar Society, the Ladies Auxiliary, 3 T Cards Club, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
On July 31, 1947, she married Anthony S. “Tony” Kaiser at Holy Name Catholic Church, Bushton, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2005.
She is survived by three children; Paul Kaiser of Great Bend, Beth Foster and husband Eldon of Manhattan, Kent Kaiser and wife Mary of Bushton; sisters, Bernice Barnes of Ellinwood, Colette Bailey of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kim Bollig and husband David, Eric Kaiser and wife Jessica, Keri Suppes and husband Chad, Brian Foster and wife Christie, Kayla Wimmer and husband Josh, Kyle Kaiser and fiancee Macey, and Karl Kaiser and wife Caitlyn; 12 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Bert Kaiser; infant son, Terrence Kaiser; grandson, Kevin Kaiser; brother, Virgil Zink, four year old brother, Joseph Zink, and infant sister, Anna Zink; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Kaiser.
Visitation will be Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, at the funeral home.
Vigil and Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, at Holy Name Catholic Church, with family to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2021, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Bushton, Kansas, celebrated by Father Rick Kotrba. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Bushton, Kansas.
