The Burdett Fire Department spent last week stocking and getting familiar with their new addition to the fire house.
With the savings put together from their past fundraisers and a local donor group, the fire department was able to replace their rescue truck and gain so many more options with a newer vehicle.
The group of volunteers in Burdett have been working to improve current equipment on hand as well as gain knowledge by attending trainings.
The firefighters would like to say a thank you to all that were involved in this purchase.
