From Rice County Community Foundation
The Rice County Community Foundation (RCCF) is excited to announce the return of Unite for Rice County Match Week, Nov. 2–13, bringing communities across Rice County together for an opportunity to make a lasting local difference.
Now in its fourth year, Match Week celebrates the generosity of Rice County residents and the many organizations working to make our communities stronger.
Through the generosity of the Patterson Family Foundation, a total of $100,000 in matching funds is available for the 2026 campaign, helping eligible charitable donations go even further. Matching funds will be distributed according to campaign guidelines, with individual fund limits and proportional matching applied as necessary.
Participating funds and organizations support a wide range of community priorities, including education, healthcare, childcare, first responders, community improvement, recreation, scholarships, local history and services that benefit Rice County residents of all ages.
"One of the things I love most about Rice County is how people come together when there's an opportunity to make a difference," said LaMonna Galyon, Executive Director of the Rice County Community Foundation. "Match Week gives everyone an opportunity to support something they care about, right here at home. Whether it's a large gift or a small one, every contribution matters."
Donors may choose from participating funds and organizations through the official campaign website. Eligible contributions received during Nov. 2–13 will be considered for matching funds in accordance with campaign guidelines. How to participate: Visit www.uniteforricecounty.org to explore participating funds, learn about campaign guidelines and make a donation during Match Week.
Together, we're not simply raising funds. We're investing in the people, organizations and communities that make Rice County home.
