BARTON COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 8 a.m. Saturday in Barton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 GMC Sierra driven by Heidi Michelle Freeman, 46, Ellinwood, was westbound on NW 8th Road three miles west of Hoisington. The pickup struck a deer.
EMS transported Freeman and passengers Cody Alexander Freeman, 12, and Harleey Jane Freeman, 18, both of Ellinwood, to Clara Barton Medical Center. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
