Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe" featured mostly jobs with adults. But kids are not above doing some dirty work of their own. Park Elementary sixth grader Cicily Gregg is the latest winner in Eagle Media's Make a Difference Contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing.
"I can make a difference by scooping the cat litter box, holding the door, and cleaning my room," Cicily said.
Just in time for Christmas, OPI & Golden Belt Printing presented Cicily with a giant $100 check as a weekly winner in the contest. As a weekly winner, she is now eligible for another $100 prize in the November monthly contest. If she is selected, she will receive another $100 and a backpack filled with goodies from other Make A Difference sponsors. Her teacher, Eric Dowson, is also eligible for a $100 monthly prize.
The Make a Difference contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing, is sponsored in part by Big Ben Custom Engraving, Freedom Claims Management, Great Bend Redi Mix, Francis Financial, Medical Park Pharmacy, R&R Roofing, Allstaff Chartered, Miller Plastics, Rosencrantz Bemis Water Well Service, Great Bend Rec, Jimlo Glass Center, Haz Mat Response, & Scooter's Coffee.
