NOTICE OF THE DISORGANIZATION OF USD NO. 112 ELECTION
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to KSA 72-635 of an Election to Disorganize Unified School District No. 112, Ellsworth County, State of Kansas, on the 1st day of August 2023, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the District the following proposition:
Shall the following be adopted?
Shall USD 112 be disorganized pursuant to K.S.A. 72-635 to pursue attachment to another school district or organization of the schools therein in anyway provided by law?
To vote in favor of any question submitted on this ballot, darken the oval to the left of the word “Yes.” To vote against it, darken the oval to the left of the word “No.”

The polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m., on August 1, 2023, the election day. The voting places in the District, and the area each voting place will serve, will be as follows:

LORRAINE CITY OFFICE – 238 S MAIN ST, LORRAINE: Green Garden, Lincoln, Lorraine City, Thomas
WILSON SENIOR CENTER – 511 25TH ST, WILSON: Columbia, Noble, Wilson City, Wilson Twp., all of Russell County and Lincoln County in USD 112
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH CENTER - 110 E. WILLIAMSON, CLAFLIN, KS 67525: all of Barton County in USD 112
BUSHTON COMMUNITY BUILDING - 301 N MAIN ST, BUSHTON, KS 67427: all of Rice County in USD 112
Registration of voters for the ELLSWORTH COUNTY ELECTION will be open at the County Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Last day to register is July 11, 2023. Registered voters are eligible to vote by advance voting ballot upon application to the County Clerk at 210 N. Kansas Ave, Ellsworth, KS 67439. In person advance voting will begin July 12, 2023, at the above address.
