The University of Kansas Health System announced the arrival of the first baby of the year at its facility in Great Bend.
The Great Bend Campus welcomed Sergio Jr. on Jan. 3 at 2:40 pm to parents Ashley Juergensen and Sergio Ramirez. Sergio Jr. weighed in at 7 lbs and 13 ounces. He’s 20.5 inches long.
To celebrate the special arrival, the family received a gift basket filled with baby items from the Chiefs, Royals, and KC Current, as well as a selection of health system-branded items.
