PAWNEE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 2a.m. Saturday in Pawnee County
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chrysler 300 driven by Jon Myles Woelk Blakely, 36, Rozell, was westbound on K156 Highway three miles west of the U.S. 183 Junction.
The car traveled off the roadway to the left and the driver corrected. The vehicle returned to the road and rolled into the ditch.
Blakely was pronoumced dead at the scene and was transported to Beckwith Mortuary. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
