Danielle Davis is hitting the ground running. The 2023 Hoisington High School graduate is currently attending Fort Hays State University where she studies massage therapy. Davis recently placed second in the Barton County Young Entrepreneurship Challenge with her Sugar N Spice Co. On Jan. 6, she'll take her business skills a step further with the opening of Bodywork by Danielle in downtown Hoisington.

"I really want to give back to the community that raised me," Davis said. "I'm excited to show all the different ways massage therapy can help people, whether it's just relaxation or to help chronic pain."

Davis still operates Sugar N Spice, which features custom t-shirts, wax melts, and more. She hopes to join the two businesses someday for a unique customer experience. For now, she will be offering 30 and 60-minute massages. She will be working out of Central Chiropractic LLC, 117 N. Main Street in Hoisington. Her hours will vary to meet customer needs but she will primarily be available for afternoon and evening sessions.

Bodywork by Danielle will kick things off with an open house on Jan. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature free chair massages, refreshments, discount cards, giveaways, and more. Schedule an appointment by calling (620) 617-3443.
