FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After a 90-minute weather delay, NCAA Tournament officials announced the suspension of Friday's K-State – Louisiana Tech contest at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Wildcats' opening round game will resume Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
The winner of the third-seeded Wildcats – second-seeded Bulldogs game will play top-seeded Arkansas (44-14) at 8 p.m. Saturday night, while the loser will face fourth-seeded SEMO (34-26) at 2 p.m.
K-State was leading 9-4 heading into the top of the sixth when the game went into its second weather delay of the night.
