The care team at Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion in Great Bend welcomes Whitney Hickert, family practice-certified advanced practice registered nurse, to The University of Kansas Health System.

Hickert earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Tabor College in Kansas, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner, at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

She enjoys family practice and walk-in care because it allows her to work with people of all ages and treat a broad array of health concerns.

Hickert is a native of Hays and is happy to be serving the people of Barton and surrounding counties while staying close to home.

“My job and passion is to work with each individual and help plan the best possible healthcare outcome for their situation,” Hickert said. “The better people feel, the better their quality of life is with the people they love the most. Life is short, so having the best memories one can make while feeling good is priceless!”

The Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic is open seven days a week and no appointment is needed to receive care. The clinic is open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
