The Shafer Art Gallery at Barton Community College is currently showing an exhibit entitled, “Sunshine and Brushstrokes,” by Jessie Rasche. Rasche is a professional painter known for her expressive use of oils. Her rural roots inspired her to begin a series of paintings of rural landscapes and animals showing their connection to each other.
