Harold Dwayne Wiley, 68, died February 8, 2024, at Clara Barton Hospital ER, Hoisington, Kansas. He was born August 15, 1955, in Kinsley, Kansas, the son of Robert and Vivian (Lewis) Wiley.
In 2001, he married Angela Hatch in Great Bend. They later divorced but remained close friends.
A resident of Hoisington for over 20 years, Harold spent most of his years working in the oil field. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church of Hoisington. He was always willing to help others and his outgoing and friendly nature made friends wherever he went, including the Friendship House and drinking coffee with his friends at CERVS. He loved playing the lottery, mowing yards, and most importantly his grandkids.
He is survived by his seven children; Rachel (Mike) Cregger of Hutchinson, Jimmy (Sheri) Wiley of Topeka, Robert (Nicole) Wiley of Seward, Geneva Myers of Great Bend, Kyle (Amber) Hatch of Grainfield, David (Kristine Henson) Boese, and Travis Wiley all of Hoisington; five brothers, David (Geneva Sue) Stanley, Robert (Debra) Stanley, Donald Wiley, Mark Wiley, Robert ‘Ronnie” Wiley, and a sister, Amber Chism of Hoisington; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and more than 50 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Hubert Stanley, Donald Stanley, and Bobby Wiley; two sisters, Doris Stanley and Linda Wiley; and significant other, Angela Wiley.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Denny Lewis presiding. Family will greet friends prior to service starting at 9:30 a.m.
