Western Cooperative Electric (WCE) is excited to partner with Golden Belt Community Foundation to provide Rush County EMS with a combined $3,750 in grant support to assist with the purchase of essential emergency medical equipment. WCE awarded Rush County EMS a $2,750 Sharing Success Grant, with an additional $1,000 contribution from the Golden Belt Community Foundation.
The funding will help Rush County EMS continue to maintain and improve the equipment needed to provide emergency medical services throughout Rush County.
As the county’s emergency medical service provider, Rush County EMS plays an essential role in responding to medical emergencies and providing care to residents when they need it most. Supporting the organization’s equipment needs helps ensure local responders have the resources necessary to serve their communities.
“Supporting organizations like Rush County EMS is about more than providing a grant,” said Christina Hayes, Member Services Manager for Western Cooperative Electric. “These are the people who show up when our communities need help the most. We are proud to invest in the equipment that helps them do their jobs safely and effectively, and we are especially pleased that we were able to partner with the Golden Belt Community Foundation to make this award go even further.”
The Golden Belt Community Foundation's additional support demonstrates the value of community organizations working together to address local needs.
