Prior to becoming a longtime resident of Great Bend, Sue started her working career in radio at WKY in Oklahoma City. Once she relocated, she worked in different areas of USD 428, working as a lunch lady, to school secretary for Lincoln Elementary, to secretary for the assistant superintendent. Sue also enjoyed attending mass while a resident of St Anthony’s Senior Living. She was dedicated to her faith and church, volunteering where needed and serving as a youth mentor. Along with that, she was dedicated to her people, always putting everyone before herself and was a fantastic person, friend, family member. Sue had the gift of gab, could make anyone laugh, and was the best storyteller. Even as the life of the party, Sue understood the importance of a good cry and to never take anything for granted.
