Following several days of rain, the city of Great Bend will expand the battle against mosquitos to two nights this week. The city will spray from 8 p.m. to midnight on both Monday, Oct. 5, and Thursday, Oct. 8.
To reduce the risk of inhaling chemicals, residents are advised to avoid going outdoors for at least 30 minutes to an hour after fogging takes place.
