McPherson historians Bobbie and Deb Hulse will present the program, “America 250” at 7 p.m., Monday, July 27th in the Library at the Barton County Historical Society. Their presentation will cover some of the earliest battles of the American Revolution, including Fort Crown Point and the Battles of Saratoga. The couple will share their dedication to preserving and understanding American history. The program is free for historical society members, for those 16 and under and $5 for non members. The Barton County Historical Society is just south of the Arkansas River bridge on Highway 281.
