After a 1-5 record before Christmas last year, the Ellinwood girls basketball team is off to a great start in the 2024-25 season. The Eagles are 6-0 and winners of the Kiowa County Shootout tournament with an overtime victory over host Kiowa County.
EHS has featured a starting lineup of three freshmen and two sophomores for most of the season. Sophomore Reece Stickney is currently averaging 16.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game.
