Principal Tim Friess and other staff members will share information regarding the academic programs and the school improvement efforts at Great Bend High School.
5. Approval of Resolution to Adopt Local Option Budget
Regarding the budget approved at the 9/11/23 BOE meeting, Boards of education must also adopt a resolution granting authority to make a Local Option Percentage in the amount required when exceeding the Revenue Neutral Rate. The USD 428 Board of Education authorizes a Local Option Percentage of 31.6 percent for the 2023-2024 year. A motion to adopt the 31.6 percent Local Option Budget is requested. Note: This resolution is a formality with no change to the budget presented and approved on 9/11/23.
