What began as a small effort to cover an unexpected expense has turned into a full-fledged, thriving business. Freaking Delicious Cheesecake Company, founded by Allie Cartwright, recently celebrated two years in business, marking a journey filled with growth, innovation, and, of course, plenty of cheesecake.
To mark the milestone, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Chamber Coffee on February 27, 2025. In just two years, Freaking Delicious Cheesecake Company has seen tremendous success. What started as a part-time side gig quickly became a full-time operation. To help keep up with demand, Allie now has a wrapped Freaking Delicious Cheesecake vehicle, which serves as both her business’s mobile presence and her means of delivering freshly made cheesecakes to customers. She has also expanded her reach with a cheesecake concession trailer, allowing her to bring her signature treats to local festivals and events.
The success of Freaking Delicious Cheesecake Company is a testament to Allie’s dedication and the overwhelming support from the community. Each cheesecake is made fresh to order in The Historic Wolf Hotel kitchen, with local delivery available within a 25-mile radius of Ellinwood. Her cheesecakes are also available by the slice at The Page in Great Bend and 9 inch cheesecakes are available at the Ellinwood Packing Plant, giving fans even more ways to enjoy them.
From frozen cheesecake on a stick to cheesecake parfaits and bite-sized delights, Allie continues to push the boundaries of what a cheesecake experience can be. As demand continues to grow, she remains a one-woman powerhouse, balancing baking, delivery, and creativity while looking ahead to what’s next for her growing business.
