The Rudd Foundation announced 30 winners of the 2023 Rudd Scholarship
last week, and Central Plains High School student Ashlyn Armstrong was
selected.
There were more than 1,000 applications for the scholarship this year. The Rudd
Scholars Programs supports Pell Grant-eligible high school students in Kansas
attend top Kansas universities.
The four-year award is designed to pay any remaining costs associated with
tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board after accounting for
all other grants, scholarships and financial awards.
Armstrong plans to attend Wichita State University.
