Barton Music Department will present “Dance the Night Away,” an instrumental concert, at 7:30 p.m. March 13 in the Fine Arts Auditorium, featuring songs known to make people want to get up and cut a rug.
The Barton Orchestra and JazzCats will perform this free show, and Barton Director of Instrumental Activities Jamie Minneman said she hopes the program will have attendees moving in their seats.
“We all have those songs that energize us,” she said. “We tried to create a program to generate that feeling in as many people as possible with every selection. We encourage the community to come out for an entertaining evening of music.”
