Animal Care Hospital (ACH) announced a new partnership with Animal Medical Center (AMC), enhancing veterinary services available to Great Bend and the surrounding communities.
Animal Care Hospital, led by Dr. Jackie Corbett, Dr. Jon Briel, Lorrie Ruble, LVT, receptionist Andrew Biernacki, and their kennel team, will continue providing veterinary care at their existing location on 10th Street. The clinic remains open Monday through Friday and every other Saturday, ensuring service for pets and their families.
Founded by Dr. Mike Malone and Lorrie Ruble, LVT, Animal Care Hospital has been offering veterinary care in Great Bend since 1991. Corbett joined ACH in 1999, further enhancing the practice's service, including care for the Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo.
"We are thrilled to join forces with Animal Medical Center," said Dr. Jackie Corbett. "This partnership allows ACH’s legacy to thrive well into the future, ensuring our clients and their pets continue receiving the high-quality, caring service they’ve always known. We feel very blessed by AMC’s commitment to our community and our team."
Animal Medical Center, established in 1985 by Dr. Jerry Weil, is under the leadership of Dr. Nels Lindberg, who purchased AMC in 2005, and Dr. Ty Brunswig, who became a partner in 2018. AMC has evolved into a six-doctor, multi-species clinic.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Animal Care Hospital to the AMC family," said Dr. Ty Brunswig." Dr. Mike built an incredible team, and we’re proud that Dr. Jackie, Lorrie, Andrew, and the entire ACH staff will continue providing the trusted care clients expect. This collaboration enhances our capacity to offer advanced diagnostics, specialized surgeries, and comprehensive veterinary care all under one roof. Our shared goal is to ensure the best health outcomes for pets and greater peace of mind for their owners."
For additional information or to schedule an appointment, clients are encouraged to contact Animal Care Hospital directly at their current 10th Street location.
