The month of September had five Tuesdays, and that meant five winners in Eagle Media's Make a Difference Contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing. On the final day of the month, Eagle Media's Director of Promotions and Riley from OPI headed to Ellinwood Grade School to present fifth-grader Libby Zink with a giant $100 check.
"I make a difference by not littering and opening the door for people," Libby said.
All K-6 students in Barton County are eligible for the contest. In addition to the $100 from OPI & Golden Belt Printing, Libby also took home goodies from the contest's other sponsors. Of the five Make a Difference winners in September, one lucky winner will also take home an additional $100 in a monthly drawing. Libby's teacher, Mrs. Billinger, would also win $100 if Libby is selected as September's monthly winner. EGS School Counselor Andrea Birzer was not surprised to see Libby holding the big check from OPI & Golden Belt Printing.
"Libby is a wonderful student," she said. "She is so happy, and just such a great leader in her class. She's well-deserving of the $100."

The Make a Difference contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing, is sponsored in part by Big Bend Custom Engraving, Freedom Claims Management, Great Bend Redi Mix, Francis Financial, Medical Park Pharmacy, R&R Roofing, Allstaff Chartered, Miller Plastics, Rosencrantz Bemis Water Well Service, Great Bend Rec, Jimlo Glass Center, Haz Mat Response, & Scooter's Coffee.
