Larned man involved in rear-end crash in Missouri

TANEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Wednesday in Taney County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Toyota Camry driven by a 69-year-old Hollister, Missouri, woman, was traveling in the wrong direction on U.S. 65 three miles south of Hollister. As the driver attempted to correct the direction of travel. A 2024 Peterbilt semi driven by a 26-year-old Larned man.  After impact the car traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

EMS transported the Camry driver to Cox South in Springfield. The semi driver was not injured. The Missouri woman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
