Despite some overall dry conditions, some recent moisture has caused an uptick in mosquito populations. As such, the city of Great Bend has announced it will once again fog for mosquitos on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
To reduce the risk of inhaling chemicals, residents are advised to avoid going outdoors for at least 30 minutes to an hour after fogging takes place.
