The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn session titled “Preparing For Spring Bulbs” on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street). Are you someone who loves bulbs or a splash of spring color? Flowering bulbs like daffodils, tulips, crocus, and allium are some of the earliest flowers to appear each year. Join us and learn about the planning, planting, and maintenance of these desirable spring-flowering bulbs.
The presentation will also be available on the Great Bend Rec Facebook page as a live event. Lauren Walz, Cottonwood Extension District Horticulture Agent, will be the speaker for the program.
