In conjunction with its February 15 home basketball game, the Barton Community College Athletic Department will dedicate the "Pink Out Night" in support of Camp Hope.
In a an effort to raise funds for the nearby youth camp, the Department is selling commemorative pink t-shirts with all proceeds going directly to the Camp Hope initiative.
Held annually at the College's Camp Aldrich near Claflin, the camp is offered by KyMel, Inc. and provides a traditional summer camp experience for ages 4-17 that have, or have had cancer. The mission of Camp Hope is to provide a normal, active and safe camp experience where children can celebrate life with, through, and beyond the diagnosis of cancer.
Supporting the initiative for many years, Barton Athletics requests pre-order of t-shirts by February 1 in preparation of celebrating the fund drive at the February 15 basketball game as the Cougars host Butler Community College that evening.
Cost for the t-shirts are $12 (sizes youth small through adult extra-large), $14 (double extra-large), and $16 (triple extra large). Pink Out Flyer
