Great Bend’s customer service training off to a good start

The Be Our Guest Academy rolled out this past January, and as of last week there were 49 individuals signed up to improve their customer service in Great Bend. The free online training educates participants on Great Bend’s attractions to pass on to visitors.

Great Bend Convention & Visitors Bureau Director Christina Hayes is pleased with early turnout.

"I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to USD 428," said Hayes. "They determined to have all of their secretaries and front desk staff to take this training. They're all signed up already. I can't say thanks enough to USD 428 for wanting to make sure Great Bend is a great place and providing the best information to visitors that might not know what Great Bend has."

The training takes three hours to complete and businesses and their staff have three months to finish the online session once beginning. Hayes is hopeful to have 500 people take the training in the first year. View the story at greatbendpost.com on how to sign up.
