
Thomas C. Branan, age 70, of Claflin, Kansas, passed away on May 5, 2025. He was born on January 12, 1955, to the late Berdetta Branan and Robert Branan.
Tom was a master mechanic who loved to tinker with cars, always finding joy in fixing engines and restoring old vehicles. His hands were never idle, and he took pride in his craftsmanship and problem-solving skills under the hood.
Throughout his later years, Tom was faithfully watched over by his loyal dog, Robbie - a small, brown companion with a personality as strong as his own. Robbie rarely left his side, always keeping a watchful eye on Tom, offering quiet comfort and companionship.
Tom is survived by his son, Dexter Branan, Dexter's wife, Olive Branan, and his grandson, David Branan. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Branan, and his sister, Laurie Branan. He is remembered as well by his former wife, Carrol Nather, with whom he shared many meaningful years.
He will be cremated in accordance with his wishes. No formal services are planned at this time.
