The Ellinwood High School cross country team traveled to St. John last week for their third meet of the season. The high school boy's team took 8th place. The high school girl's team started the year fighting some sickness and injuries, but they are getting healthy and took first place as a team. 

The 7th-grade girls also had enough runners to compete as a team and took first place. 

 Individual highlights from the high schoolers include a PR  for Kyla McCormick. The women's team had two medalists, Eleanor Joiner (4th) and Kyla McCormick (11th). 

Middle school had several PRs from Emmalynn Perron, Victoria Recinos, Feelecia McCormick, and Jace Drake. Medalists were Eden Ringwald (5th) and Josh Zook (10th). 

Ellinwood's next races are at Larned on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m.&nbsp;
