The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Sunflower Estates, a Mobile Home and RV Community, on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.
Formerly known as Finer Mobile Home Park, Sunflower Estates is now under new ownership dedicated to restoring pride and community spirit to one of Great Bend’s longest-standing manufactured housing neighborhoods. The new leadership team is investing in upgrades, improving management, and providing flexible homeownership and RV living opportunities designed to help working families and travelers alike feel at home.
Sunflower Estates, located at 5501 9th Street in Great Bend, offers quality, affordable housing and RV accommodations for families, retirees, and seasonal residents. The community provides both rent-to-own and purchase options for mobile homes, as well as short-term and monthly RV stays. With an emphasis on creating a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment, the management team is focused on infrastructure improvements and fostering a positive, family-friendly atmosphere where residents take pride in their surroundings.
The property currently serves over 50 mobile home and RV residents, with additional homes and spaces available as improvements continue throughout the community. Locally, the park is managed by a two-person team, supported by regional operations and maintenance partners who are dedicated to property care and resident satisfaction.
While Sunflower Estates relaunched under new ownership in 2025, its leadership team brings more than a decade of combined experience in real estate, community
revitalization, and RV park management. The ownership group operates manufactured housing and RV communities in seven states, focusing on long-term stewardship and resident-first management.
