The Great Bend Bat Cats started the year a perfect 3-0, with all three games on the road. Great Bend opened the season with a 9-1 win over the Dodge City A's before taking two games against the Kansas Cannons by scores of 4-1 and 11-4.
The Bat Cats will play their home opener hosting the Derby Twins at Al Burns Memorial Field on Saturday, June 6 at 6 PM.
The team will play a total of 34 regular season games this season, with the postseason beginning on on July 23.
