Great Bend Tennis was edged out by one point on Monday, just missing out on a WAC title. The Panthers scored 11 points, edged out by Dodge City, who scored 12.
The Indians won by taking first in both #1 Doubles and #2 Doubles, while Great Bend could not finish first in either singles or doubles competition.
The WAC Player of the Year was awarded to Garden City's Chloe Ptacek, the Buffaloes #1 Singles player.
