Andrea Bauer finished a four-year term on the Great Bend Recreation Commission Board.

Bauer spent four years with the board from Jan. 2019 - Dec. 2022.&nbsp; She was also board chair in her last year.&nbsp; 

Bauer helped with GBRC strategic planning, partnerships with tennis court updates, sports complex turf, master planning at parks and playgrounds.&nbsp; 

“Andrea has a vision for recreation and has not only been a leader for GBRC but a leader in Great Bend," said Great Bend Rec Executive Director Chris Umphres. "GBRC will truly miss Andrea as a board member but we know that she will continue to support what we do.”

Colleen Newman will be replacing Bauer next month as a USD 428 school board appointment.
