This July, Heartland Farm is offering two overnight Teen Camps for 12-15-year-olds, one for girls and one for boys.
Campers will explore the Farm by day and by night – including tent-camping under the Farm’s inky, black sky, where campers will enjoy a bit of star gazing. They will also participate in activities like swimming and fishing, telling stories around the campfire, participating in chores, hanging out with the alpacas, and studying nature and their place within it.
Girls’ Camp: 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 17
Boys’ Camp: 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24
Full and partial scholarships are available through friends of Heartland Farm.
More information including online registration, printable brochure with mail-in form, and scholarship application are available at heartlandfarm-ks.org/peace-camp-2024.
Registration deadline is Friday, July 12.
