La Crosse woman appointed to Governor's advisory council

Governor Laura Kelly announced 8 appointments and 6 reappointments to the following state boards and commissions.

State Library of Kansas BoardPurpose: To advocate for statewide library services and resources, advise and counsel the state librarian on policies and management.

Information Network of KansasPurpose: To provide Kansans equal electronic access to state, county, local and other public information.

Advisory Council on AgingPurpose: To provide advocacy for the aging in the affairs of the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), and other public and private, state, and local agencies affecting aging issues.
