The Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic is celebrating one year at its new state-of-the-art location, marking a milestone in healthcare access and quality for the Ellinwood community and surrounding areas. Since opening the new hospital in July 2024, the organization has experienced significant growth, expanded services, and welcomed new providers and specialists.
Over the past year, the hospital opened a new Walk-In Clinic, launched a surgical operating suite led by general surgeon Dr. Jerod Grove, M.D., and expanded its care team with the addition of Dr. David Sanger, M.D., Ashley Komarek, APRN, and Meredith Joiner, APRN.
The Ellinwood Hospital is also proud to announce the arrival of additional specialty services. Starting in August, urologists Dr. Michael Matteucci, M.D., and Dr. William Mauch, M.D., F.A.C.S, will begin offering outreach clinics twice a month, making specialty urology care more accessible to local patients. In addition, pain management services with Greg Seiler, CRNA, will be available in the near future.

With a renewed focus on preventive care, specialist outreach, and surgical services, the Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic continues to evolve to meet the growing needs of the region. As the organization enters its second year in the new facility, additional service expansions and community partnerships are already in motion.
