For decades, Eagle Media has been a proud partner in bringing local high school sports to life! From Friday night lights to the final buzzer of basketball season, the company has made it a priority to keep the community connected to its hometown teams.
This year, that commitment is growing even stronger but the need for local support is greater than ever.
Currently, only 12 sponsors have stepped up to back this season’s broadcasts. They include Cardinal Pharmacy, Hoisington Rec, USD 431 Hoisington, Superior Essex, Town & Country Supermarket, Ehler Chevrolet, Innovative Livestock Services, Equity Bank, Rosenberg Family Dentistry, First Kansas Bank, Clara Barton Medical Center, and Dr. Tyler Schremmer DDS. Eagle Media General Manager Dakota Tucker says that without additional sponsorships, it becomes increasingly difficult to sustain the tradition of live, local sports coverage.
“Hoisington sports are part of the heartbeat of the Hoisington community,” Tucker said. “We’ve always believed in making sure everyone has a way to follow the action, whether they’re in the stands or miles away. But to keep doing that, we rely on our sponsors. We need more local businesses to step in and help make this happen.”
Tucker emphasized that the price for sponsorship has remained unchanged, making it more accessible for local businesses to get involved while still receiving valuable exposure.
New for the 2025-26 season, Eagle Media is offering a video stream of all home and away games, complete with the familiar radio play-by-play patched in. The upgrade will allow fans to watch games live from anywhere or re-watch the action later, providing a full, immersive experience for those who can’t attend in person.
In addition to Hoisington High School sports, Eagle Media’s coverage in the Great Bend area also includes Great Bend Panther Sports and Larned Indian Sports, expanding the company’s reach and commitment to celebrating local athletes across the region.
Tucker says the move is part of Eagle’s long-standing mission "Our Community Connected."
“We’re not just broadcasting games, we’re preserving memories, celebrating student athletes, and strengthening community pride,” Tucker said. “Every sponsorship is an investment in that mission.”
