The Great Bend Recreation Commission is sponsoring its 27th&nbsp;annual youth summer theatre production, “Happily Ever Before” by Tracy Wells. &nbsp;The performance will be held on Friday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at the Great Bend High School Auditorium.&nbsp; The production is open to the public and admission is free.&nbsp; The doors to the Auditorium open at 6:30 p.m. for the public.&nbsp; 

The cast of 16 children, ages 8 – 16, has been practicing for five weeks under the direction of Holly Johnson and assistants Pat Doll and Tammy Bell.&nbsp; This year’s cast of performers are:&nbsp; Ella Buzard, Brecklynn Carper, Kaitlyn Froetschner, Brooks Hogan, Sheridan Johnson, Jeslyn Klepper, Vivian Klepper, Caitlyn Kuhn, Anderson Luttrell, Callahan Luttrell, Holly Ann Luttrell, Ivy Peterson, Kimmie Peterson, Brooklyn Reynolds, Madilyn Scheuerman and Janey Weber.&nbsp; A special thank you goes out to all the parents for all your cooperation and efforts, USD #428 and Portraits By Shane.
