Michael Shane Moore, Jr., 34, passed away February 21, 2025, at The University of Kansas Health Systems ER – Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on November 30, 1990, in Great Bend, Kansas to Michael Moore and Christa Morrison.
A lifetime resident of Great Bend, Michael worked in the oil field. He attended services at the First Street Church of God. Michael was a tattoo enthusiast, and enjoyed playing basketball, watching his daughter’s soccer games, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include mother, Christa Demel and husband Donald of Great Bend; father, Michael Moore of Valley Center; significant other, Denise Allende of Wichita; daughter, Emma Allende; brother, Nathan Moore of Great Bend; sisters, Jamie Moore and Katrina Moore, both of Great Bend; stepbrother, Phillip Demel of Great Bend; stepsister, Rabecca Demel of Great Bend; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Josie Morrison of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Jerod Espinosa; and paternal grandparents, Arthur Lee Moore and Patricia Shelton.
