The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Understanding Social Security” on Wednesday, March 27th, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street).
Did you know that financial well-being is part of overall health? Being in control of your personal finances empowers you to make healthy decisions for you and your family. In this session, we will discuss how social security works, eligibility for benefits, and how to find your full retirement age.
Karissa Winkel, Family and Community Wellness Agent for K-State Research and Extension – Cottonwood District, will be the speaker for the program.
