RICE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6a.m. Saturday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Ford F150 driven by Stephen Crawford, 28, Great Bend, was eastbound on Avenue N three miles west of Lyons. The driver swerved to miss a deer and the pickup rolled onto its top in the ditch.
EMS transported Crawford to the hospital in Lyons. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
