The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on April 24 to celebrate the arrival of Hertz Rental to the community of Great Bend. The event took place at the newly established Hertz Rental location, owned by Lewis Auto Group, situated at 2602 10th Street.
With a presence across the state, and into Oklahoma, Lewis Hertz Rentals is renowned for its commitment to providing convenient and reliable transportation solutions. The opening of Hertz Rental in Great Bend in mid-February 2024 marked a significant milestone for the company, as it expanded its footprint to serve the residents and visitors of Great Bend.
Steve Clark, Area Manager commented, “Since its opening in Great Bend, Hertz Rental has experienced a steady increase in patronage with each month welcoming a growing number of customers through its doors.”
The company caters to both personal and business customers alike.
Hertz Rental offers the convenience of pickup and drop-off options at the Great Bend airport during weekend hours, subject to prior scheduling arrangements. Clark also commented on their hopes of adding to their local team to be able to expand hours. The Great Bend location is currently managed by Colin Wohlford.
Looking ahead, Hertz Rental wants to introduce features such as QR codes inside rental cars, providing seamless access to buying options.
