One of a handful of Division 1 prospects in the Golden Belt area, Hoisington's Brody Pfannenstiel transferred from Russell to play for the Cardinals before his junior season.

Over a year with Hoisington, Pfannenstiel emerged as a dynamic defensive lineman and contributed on offense as a running back and tight end, earning a three star ranking.

On February 19th, Pfannenstiel visited Texas Tech, and committed a little less than month later on March 13th.

After finishing the school year, Pfannenstiel began taking official visits again, visiting Wisconsin and Kansas the weekend of June 5th, and returning to Texas Tech on June 12th. He announced his flip to the Badgers on June 16th. He still has a visit scheduled to Kansas State the weekend of June 19th.

Pfannenstiel is a composite three-star, and is the 4th ranked player in the state of Kansas in the 2027 class.
