Our Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Program, which launched in January, includes nutrition workshops that are open to the public. Are you looking to make healthier nutrition choices? Unsure where to start? Small changes tend to be more sustainable than large, drastic shifts, and once these habits are established, you can build on them over time.

We have three upcoming nutrition programs left:

· Shake off Excess Sodium: Learn about the impact of sodium on health and discover which foods are high in sodium and which are healthier alternatives.

· Cooking with Herbs and Spices: Explore how to enhance the flavor of your meals without relying on salt.

· Heart Smart Eating When Out and About: Gain useful tips for navigating dining out and making heart-healthy choices.

Each session includes a food demonstration, allowing you to see how to prepare these nutritious meals and taste them for yourself. Healthy eating can be flavorful and exciting!

We’d love for you to join us! More details are below.

Event Details Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm Location: 601 Main St., Hays, KS Dates:

· March 25
· April 29
· May 27
