The Butler Grizzlies ended the Barton Lady Cougars 12- game winning streak Saturday, beating Barton 27-25, 25-19, 18-25, 19-25, 15-13 at the Kirkman Center.
Barton (23-4) 12-2) failed to clinch the Jayhawk regular season championship with the loss. The Lady Cougars lead Hutchinson by 2 1/2 games in the conference standings with two games left in the regular season. Hutch has three games left to play.
