Great Bend Post will soon launch its annual Graduating Seniors Directory, highlighting students from across the region while showcasing strong support from the local business community.
The online directory will feature graduating seniors from Great Bend, Hoisington, Larned, St. John, Central Plains and Ellinwood high schools. The project is designed to recognize the accomplishments of area students while giving families, friends and community members a place to celebrate the Class of 2026.
Support from area businesses has played a key role in making the directory possible. Local companies have partnered with Great Bend Post to sponsor individual school pages, helping bring visibility to the students while also reinforcing the community’s commitment to its next generation.
“Seniors only get this moment once, and it’s important we recognize it,” Market Manager Dakota Tucker said. “This project is a great example of local businesses stepping up to support our students and our communities.”
The directory will be available to view soon and will remain online through May 31.
Businesses that participate receive a display advertisement on the school page of their choice, along with radio mentions across Eagle Media stations encouraging community members to celebrate the graduates and attend commencement ceremonies.
Several businesses have committed to supporting all six schools, including Scooter's Coffee, Freedom Claims Management, All Weather Roofing, Sutherlands, Joiner Construction and Eldridge Fencing.
Additional sponsors supporting individual schools include USD 428, Damm Pipe Testing, Comfort Pro, Kern Floor Service, Mayo Money Management, Insurance Planning, GB Tarp Company, Hoisington Veterinary Hospital and USD 355 Ellinwood Public Schools.
There is still time for additional businesses to participate.
