Tickets are now available for the Sunflower Diversified Services Pancake Feed and raffle, both of which are scheduled for Thursday, March 21, at Prince of Peace Parish Center, 4100 Broadway.

The pancake feed is set for 4 to 7 p.m. and the drawing will occur at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets for the dinner are $8 for all you can eat pancakes, sausage and a drink. Dine-in and carry-out are available.

Raffle tickets are $5 each and five for $20. Winners do not have to be present to collect their prizes.

All tickets can be purchased at Westside Market, 5523 10th, or at the door.

“This is our 21st annual pancake feed, which has grown in popularity over the years,” said Cody Harris, director of planned giving and community support. “The community looks forward to this event as much as we do.

“With Chris Cakes and DJ Cain, this is not your ordinary pancake feed. They will entertain throughout the evening.”

Everyone who supports this event can be assured that all proceeds benefit children and adults with development disabilities and delays, Harris added.

Raffle prizes include: $50 gift cards for Delgado’s, Dry Lake Brewing, Flatlanders Stonefired Flatbreads, Great Bend Coffee, Jimmy John’s and Lana’s Catering & Goodies.

Other prizes are: a one-hour massage from Sandra Burton; $100 gift cards from Dillons and Hatchet Axtion; $200 gift card from Golden Belt Beef; and a Halo Griddle – Table Top.

“We truly appreciate these businesses, along with Brad and Sarah Shirer and Ehler Chevrolet for their contributions and support,” Harris said. “The people we serve are especially grateful for this wonderful community that supports them.”

The money raised can be used for items not financed by tax dollars such as adaptive equipment, and medical and dental services.

Sunflower serves infants, toddlers and adults in Barton, Pawnee, Rice, Rush and Stafford counties. It is in its 59th year.
